Three thugs holding a young woman hostage in the countryside  are thwarted by an unlikely interference - Bright Flashes of Light. Sent to investigate the source, two of the gang's members never return sending the leader, Ray, scrambling to flee. His escape route blocked, he heads to the woods where he crosses paths with a group of campers whom he takes captive while planning his getaway.
